Major Systems of the Body. The inner body – organs in asana, the digestive system in asana, Yogic nutrition and foods that heal

The Nervous System in asana and pranayama. The nature of Pain. The Health Benefits of Meditation. How to utilize reflexes to deepen asana practice. Jill Bolte Taylor talk on TED.
Sunday 12th June 7.30-10am (2.5hrs)
The Enteric Nervous system. The Endocrine System – corresponding Chakras. The Skeletal System – the microscopic make-up of bone and Wolff’s Law

The Effects of Inversions – the nature of blood pressure
Revision and assignment discussion
Total = 32 hours contact
To make up a total of 36 hours study, there will be an assignment which will take an expected completion time of approximately 4 hours. This will be due for submission one month after the course (27th July, 2011).
